I found this weeks reading about the founding members interesting. The two women Julie and Francoise were two very admirable women. They came from different lives because one was an Aristocratic while the other was a poor disabled general population women.
I related to Francoise life to mine because she had many opportunities to grow and pursue her education. In my life I have many opportunities to grow and go where I want. My family has given me the opportunity and freedom to become what she wanted. I enjoyed reading how Francoise's parents were supportive of her independence. At the time women had little opportunities besides becoming a house wife or a nun.
I found it very interesting how the two women came from very different backgrounds and still were able to find each other and respect each other as equals and create a great duo.
